As one of the two co-founders of Altima Dental Canada, Canada’s largest dental group practice, Dr. Grail has created a team of more than 325 dental professionals and support staff practicing from more than 27 locations across Ontario and Alberta. Altima’s clinical teams are supported by a talented group of individuals who specialize in specific organizational and business skills such as operations management, marketing and communications, human resources and accounting.

Dr. Grail is committed to numerous organizations in North America serving the community in dentistry, charitable assistance and the arts. He has co-established the Altima Dental Student Services Centre for the University of Toronto to assist students, and has worked with Boston University’s Dr. S. He also co-founded the Altima St. Appollonia Foundation in conjunction with the Barrie Community Health Centre to provide free restorative and cosmetic dentistry to women (and/or children) recovering from abusive environments, a program successfully now expanded to include Toronto and Hamilton.

Dr. Grail’s extensive operational and clinical background in dentistry has allowed him to remain current with the crucial issues facing the profession today. Some of his past voluntary positions include the Board of Governors for the Ontario Dental Association (ODA), chairman of Senior Services for the North York chapter of the Canadian Red Cross and Member of the Legal and Legislative Committee of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO). He also remains active with his alma mater in various alumni councils.
