At Altima Dental, we are committed to providing the best available care to our patients, and your satisfaction is our number-one priority. We offer easy-to-reach offices, extensive hours that include evenings and weekends, and well-trained, highly knowledgeable staff who will be happy to answer all your questions and make you feel comfortable.
Our team understands that some people worry about going to the dentist, and works hard to alleviate any concerns our patients may have about dental work. We are dedicated to providing you with exceptional service and the most up-to-date dental technologies available in a caring, professional environment.
Our office on the concourse level of the Atrium is located right at the heart of downtown Toronto, beside Yonge and Dundas Square. You can find us right beside the Rexall drugstore and the CIBC. With easy access to the subway, a connection to the underground PATH network of shops and other businesses, and a short walk to the Toronto Coach Terminal, getting there is quick and convenient.
Do you work downtown? Wouldn’t it be great if you could just take a break for a routine appointment during the workday, rather than losing half a day in trying to get to and from a dental office across the city? Our Atrium location can offer you just that.
We offer several dental services to our clients at our Atrium location beyond routine hygiene and checkups, such as veneers, mouthguards, and tooth replacement. If you are missing any teeth, this can impact the surrounding teeth as they drift out of place, and even the integrity of your jaw in the long term. It is important that you fill in any gaps you may have, and with options including dental implants, crowns, bridges, and dentures, this work has never been easier.
Talk to our team of professionals today if you have any missing teeth that need replacing, and together we will determine which option would work best for you.
If you play any sports with a risk of contact such as hockey, Health Canada strongly recommends wearing a custom-fitted mouthguard that is designed exactly for your mouth. Wearing a mouthguard reduces your risk of dental injury, but mass-produced store-bought versions tend to be bulky and uncomfortable, with low longevity. Other options include boil-and-bite mouthguards, which are heated and bitten into, and vacuum-formed mouthguards, which are made my making a cast of the client’s teeth and shaping plastic to fit it.
However, these also have their limitations, and the safest, most durable option is a pressure-laminated mouthguard, which provides users with the best fit and protection. Why risk your smile on anything but the best? Ask any one of our team members at Altima Dental if you need a custom-made mouthguard.
Toronto is one of the most multicultural cities in the world, and its residents speak hundreds of languages. Altima Dental offices reflect this city’s diversity as well. Our Atrium office is proud to be able to cater to Toronto’s diverse communities by offering services in English, French, and Punjabi. If you wish to have a dentist communicate in a language other than English, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
