At Altima Dental, we are dedicated to providing outstanding dental care in a professional, compassionate environment that makes our patients feel comfortable. Patient satisfaction is our number-one priority, and our team of highly knowledgeable staff is dedicated to meeting all your dental health needs and addressing any concerns you may have.

We understand that some people can be apprehensive about dental visits, and that this may make them less likely to book an appointment until an existing problem gets worse. Because oral health is such an important part of your overall health, we are committed to taking a proactive approach and responding quickly and effectively to any issues.

We want to ensure that our patients receive the care they need when they need it. This is why we also place an emphasis on having offices that are easy to reach and offer convenient hours that can work for you.

Our Barrie office is located right in the heart of downtown, and is close to a variety of restaurants, bars, and retailers, with Heritage Park and the waterfront a few short blocks away.

We are open until 7:00 pm on Mondays and Thursdays and 6:00 pm on Fridays, and are open on Saturdays once a month from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, in order to accommodate your busy schedule.

Whether you are looking for a dental care provider to perform a routine cleaning, resolve an issue impacting your oral health, or perform a cosmetic dental service, our Barrie location has you covered.

Our team at Altima Dental is equipped with the latest technologies and scientific knowledge to ensure that you receive the most up-to-date treatment. Silver was once commonly used to make fillings, but these have been replaced with more modern porcelain fillings, which are more natural-looking and match the teeth around them.

Applying porcelain fillings is less invasive than older methods, which involved drilling to make space for the filling, whereas porcelain fillings are bonded to the tooth directly using a resin and then hardened through the use of a special light. They are stronger, more durable, and can last from 10 to 30 years.

Porcelain is also used to make high-quality veneers, which are ultra-thin shells designed to cover the surface of your front teeth in order to improve their appearance.

Are you embarrassed by any unsightly imperfections, such as cracks, chips, and heavy stains that just won't go away? Do unevenly spaced or overcrowded teeth make you hesitate about showing off your biggest smile? Thanks to porcelain veneers, you can cover up any imperfections that bother you and get the smile you deserve.

If you are interested in getting veneers and would like to have a complimentary consultation, talk to a member of the Altima Dental team today. Our cosmetic dentists are committed to providing our patients with everything they need to get the smile they want. With a wealth of expertise and many years of experience, they will be able to help you find the treatment plan that's right for you.
