At Altima Dental, we understand how much of a struggle it can be to maintain your health when you are juggling the responsibilities of modern life. This is why we strive to provide our patients with accessible dental care in easy-to-reach locations with convenient hours to match even the busiest of schedules.
Our Bramalea office is located on the upper level of Bramalea City Centre, across from the food court and near the Metro supermarket. Bramalea City Centre is just east of Highway 410, and can be reached by car or by public transit. We are open seven days a week, and offer a late closing time of 8:00 pm from Monday through Thursday, ensuring that you will find an appointment time that works for you.
We want to ensure that all of our clients receive the best care they can get, and are able to communicate effectively with their dental care provider. This is why at our Bramalea location, we are proud to have a diverse team that can offer our patients services in English, Bangla, Cantonese, Farsi, Gujarati, Hindi, Laotian, Persian, Punjabi, and Spanish.
Our team at Altima Dental's Bramalea location is committed to making our patients comfortable and providing them with all the information they need about any services we provide. We understand that some people may have anxieties about trips to the dentist, and that this can even keep them from booking an appointment even when they know they have a dental health issue that needs to be addressed as soon as possible. Because we know how important oral health is to our overall health, we want everyone to be able to get the dental care they need without being limited by fear or anxiety.
To help ease the stress of a visit, intravenous sedation is available at our Bramalea location. Intravenous (IV) sedation is a form of conscious sedation that relaxes a person without fully putting them to sleep. It can greatly help very young or nervous patients go through long, uncomfortable procedures, thereby reducing risks to their health and recovery.
Do you grind your teeth when you sleep? Bruxism, which is the name given to excessive grinding of the teeth or clenching of the jaw, is relatively common among both children and adults, may have no symptoms. Some people, however, experience pain or discomfort around the ears, headaches, discomfort in the jaw muscles, and tooth sensitivity.
One way to mitigate these symptoms and prevent damage to your teeth is by getting a custom-fitted night guard. A night guard can be made of hard or soft plastic, and is formed over a cast of either your top or bottom teeth for a perfect fit. By separating the top and bottom teeth, a night guard can keep them from wearing against each other, improving your quality of sleep.
If you grind your teeth at night and the resulting discomfort is affecting your quality of life, talk to one of our dentists today to find out if a night guard is right for you.
